ABOUT THE COMPANY

Mat of Out of Box Design was born and raised in Maine. After graduating high school, he began his working career in the retail setting. Mat has always been passionate about customer service, and over the years, this passion led him to roles in management.

Mat's creativity was bursting at the seams, and over time he found himself showcasing his creative talents whenever and wherever possible. From drawing, to graphics, and even cake decorating - the medium didn't matter, as long as he was doing something that ultimately made people smile.

In 2010, he made the decision to pursue his dreams of landing a more creative role; however, in order to make it happen, he knew a higher education was necessary. Although college ended up taking him out of state for some time, all roads ultimately led back to Maine.

Equipped with his coursework and customer service background, Mat landed creative roles that allowed him to grow as a designer.  Thanks to the hands on experience using some of the industry's top machines and the people who gave him a chance, his dreams had come true.
